Life is packed with decisions. Whether that decision is definitely choosing what you're going to put wear and tear on school or perhaps deciding what career to pursue, it can affect each of our life in a single way or another. The poem, " The Road Not Taken" tells a tale of a gentleman who actually reaches a zone in the road and must choose which will path to have, each course different from the other. Through this poem, Frost argues that every decision we make, no matter how insignificant it might appear, will have a direct effect on each of our life. Ice uses a stroll inside the woods as being a metaphor to make a decision in every area of your life, a situation that individuals face daily. " Two roads diverged in a yellow wood... " Each street starts in the same place, but may lead to two entirely different locations and the tourist has no thought where all those destinations might be. Not sure which usually path to choose, and afraid of making an incorrect choice, this individual compares the two roads, much like we do when contemplating a choice, analyzing the pros and cons. Many times, we tend to opt for the easy way out. The path that is traveled more regularly has a predictable outcome that keeps us within our comfort zone, though it may not be the most beneficial choice. In his comparison of the two roads, Frost shows us the importance of producing a decision and how it could affect us down the road. By comparing the two tracks, the traveller finally evens up his mind, choosing the road that is more beautiful and fewer traveled. The traveler got the plunge, taking the road that had not been employed as often since the other. Aware of just how " approach leads onto way... " the traveler regrets that he are unable to take the two roads. Although he sees that he may under no circumstances be allowed the chance to travel around the other path, this individual continues on into the not known of his future. The image every choice in life just like the forked highways in a forest gives all of us a clearer idea of just how one decision leads to another and how this chain response can either consider us more deeply into the forest or guideline us to safety.
